Nicolas Favresse- urodził się i dorastał w Belgii. Nigdy nie przypuszczał, że zostanie profesjonalnym wspinaczem. Przez wielu postrzegany jako zwariowany szczęściarz, którzy zawsze spada na cztery łapy. Przyznaje, że poniekąd mają rację. Ciągle wyznaczam sobie nowe cele wspinaczkowe i uparcie dążę do ich osiągnięcia. Właściwie moim domem jest mój van. Moją żoną jest mandolina. Robię to co kocham i całkowicie oddaję się swojej pasji. Jednak na jego drodze stoją dwa duże problemy:  „big wall „ środowiska wspinaczkowego oraz idealny dźwięk mandoliny.

2009 :  First free ascent of the East face of the central tower of Torres del paine, Chilian Patagonia
2009 : "The Belgarian" 5.13 A1, 850m West Face of Asgard’s south tower climbed in 11 days, Big wall style. One aid move.
2010 : 9 new big walls open in the south and the West coast of Greenland with a sailboat as a Base camp.
2011 : First Repeat of Orbayu, 8b+, 500m Naranjo de bulnes, Spain
