Dr. Colibasanu Horia
Birth date: 04.01.1977 Timisoara Graduate of the Medical and Pharmacy“Victor Babes” University from Timisoara, year 2001. One year of internship and three years of residency at the same institute are the following steps in his professional career. At the present time he has the title of “medical specialist”.
Ø 1999 – 2000 - member of Romanian Alpine Club - region Timisoara.
Ø 2003 – present - member of Sports Club Alternative TM.
Ø 2000 – present - founding member of Alternative Association TM.
Ø 2002 – present - founding member of Sports Club Alternative TM.
Ø 2001 and 2002 - Extreme sports festival “Alternative Extreme”.(~250 participants)

Ø 2005 - Instructor in the winter camp organized by The Romanian Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing

Ø 2006 - Himalaya – summited Manaslu(8163m) first romanian ascent– receives the title of Honorary citizen of Timisoara
Ø 2007 - Himalaya – summited Dhaulagiri(8167m) first romanian ascent– does his first attempt on Annapurna
Ø 2008 - Himalaya – Annapurna(8091m) – failed summit attempt on a new route. Takes part in the rescue attempt of his partner Inaki Ochoa, staying by his side 3 days in camp 4 at 7500m.
